Data Deletion
Last updated: August 2, 2026
You control the data in your ENA workspace. This page explains every deletion option and how to use it.
Disconnect Gmail
Disconnecting Gmail removes ENA's permission to continue accessing the connected mailbox. No new messages will be imported after you disconnect. Data already imported into ENA stays in your workspace until you remove it using the next option.
- Log in to ENA.
- Open Settings.
- Select Connected Accounts (Mailboxes).
- Find the connected Gmail account.
- Select Disconnect.
- Confirm the disconnection.
You can also revoke ENA's access directly from your Google Account under Security → Third-party apps with account access.
Delete imported email data
This deletes the conversations, documents and contacts that ENA imported from your connected mailbox. It does not delete anything from Gmail itself.
- Log in to ENA.
- Open Settings.
- Go to Connected Accounts (Mailboxes).
- Select "Remove imported Gmail data".
- Confirm the removal.
If you cannot reach this option, submit a deletion request through our Support page and choose the category "Delete imported email data".
Delete your ENA account
- Log in to ENA.
- Open Settings.
- Select Account.
- Select Delete Account.
- Review the warning and confirm deletion.
What happens after deletion: you immediately lose access to your ENA account, any connected mailbox authorization is revoked, and the ENA account data associated with you — including imported conversations, documents, contacts, notes and preferences — is deleted from our active systems. Residual copies in routine backups age out on our normal backup cycle. Limited information may be retained where a legitimate legal or security retention requirement applies. Account deletion cannot be undone.
Cannot access your account?
If you cannot log in, you can still request deletion. Submit a request through our Support page using the email address associated with your ENA account and select the deletion category that matches your request.
ENA may need to verify your identity before deleting data, so that we do not act on a request from someone other than the account owner.
